Taking the lead in AI-powered financial research

A note from the team

We didn't start Midas because we thought the world needed another finance tool.

We started it because, after years of working with investors, we kept seeing the same thing play out.

Smart people, with strong judgement, spending most of their time not thinking, but managing tools. Jumping between terminals, spreadsheets, PDFs, notes. Rebuilding the same context, over and over again.

Not because they wanted to. Because that was the only way the tools worked.

At some point, that stops being a tooling problem and starts being a structural one.

The industry has spent decades optimising for access to information. More data, faster feeds, broader coverage.

But very little has changed in how that information is actually processed.

You still have to read everything.

You still have to decide what matters.

You still have to stitch it together yourself.

AI changes that. Not in the way it's often presented, as a chatbot bolted onto existing workflows, but more fundamentally.

It gives us a chance to rethink the system entirely.

Our view is simple.

"You shouldn't have to adapt your workflow to the tool. The tool should adapt to you."

It should understand what you own, what you care about, and why. It should track what's changing. It should surface what matters. And it should do that continuously, without you having to ask.

Not as a feature. As the default.

That's what we're building with Midas.

A single environment for investment research that adapts to each investor, rather than forcing every investor into the same shape.

We're still early. There's a lot to get right.

But the goal is clear.

Less time managing information.

More time making decisions that matter.

The Midas team brings together experience from investment banking, quantitative research, and machine learning. Our founders met while working at leading financial institutions, where they experienced first-hand the inefficiencies that still plague the industry.

Rather than building another generic AI tool, we set out to create something purpose-built for the analyst workflow — a platform that treats accuracy as non-negotiable and gives professionals the transparency they need to trust the output.

What We Believe

Our core values

Data you can verify

We cite every datapoint to the primary source and expose our methods. No black boxes. No hand-waviness.

Accuracy as a requirement

Research decisions depend on correctness. We optimise for truth over speed and cut anything that risks error.

Clarity over noise

Midas removes friction. Analysts should see what matters, not sift through clutter or fight the interface.

Built for analysts, not vanity

We care about what helps you work better, not what looks good in a pitch deck.

Compress weeks of financial research into minutes with AI-powered intelligence.
