Research notes, tooling comparisons, and what we ship — written for investment teams.

We publish for the people doing the work: analysts, portfolio managers, and the research operations teams who keep them supplied. Expect three kinds of writing. First, practical method notes — how to pull a segment history out of a decade of filings, how to build a screen that survives a restatement, how to keep an audit trail an investment committee will accept.

Second, honest tooling comparisons. We write up the incumbent terminals and document platforms against Midas, including where they are still the better choice, with pricing checked at time of writing. Third, product notes on what we ship and why, including the parts of AI research that do not work yet.

Every post carries a named author and a facts-checked date, and figures are sourced. Nothing here is investment advice.

What we shipped, monthly.
